Arizona Resuscitation Academy

Cardiac Arrest:

From Small Chance to Second Chance

Helge Myklebust (Laerdal Medical Research, Norway) will give a plenary address on strengthening the anchor link in the Chain of Survival.


2 Tracks to Choose From:

¨ EMS Track

*Come watch a High Performance CPR Competition*

Resuscitation demos; Sessions include: Regionalization/Cardiac Centers, Termination of Resuscitation, TBI (EPIC Project), QI Programs, and more.

¨ Community/Dispatch Track

*New this Year*

Community/Dispatch Track –Community CPR trainers and 9-1-1 dispatchers/call-takers will come together for a dynamic workshop. This will be a unique opportunity to understand each other’s roles and work together to increase immediate bystander CPR. This track includes discussion sessions and role-playing scenarios. Breakout sessions will train dispatchers in the latest techniques for Telephone CPR.

[Hospital and EMS personnel are welcome to join either track.
